Check Your Keys - Part 1 is a book that transports one’s spiritual being into a mode of self-evaluation. It’s like being transported into the book itself, instead of just reading another portion of literature. It is a fast read, but has such substantial layering that your mind, heart and spirit won’t just breeze through and forget its impact. It’s a read alone or a group discussion read. Just when one might think everything is clean and in order there maybe some subtle crevices of your being needing some reviewing, restoration, revelation, renewing and revitalizing.

Before sending Check Your Keys - Part 1 out to be reviewed my spirit lead me to read the book for myself. From the start I couldn’t stop reading. It was very enlightening; it’s as if someone was talking to me. I actually felt what the writer had gone through. Although it’s a fast read you have to go back and reread because of the depth of the message. It makes you open your mind and pay attention. It was an experience; the whole time I was thinking, “WOW!”

Upon reviewing the Table of Contents I knew this was a must read. As I was reading the book I was able to visualize myself being in the midst of the conversation between the author and God. Because it’s written in a personal format I was undoubtedly able to identify with the author, who spoke with such tenacity. It’s an excellent teaching tool, which provides insight on weaponry, strategies and warnings. Many things I already knew, but the format and content provided me with a fresh perspective; it’s like witnesses seeing an auto accident and all of them would have different points of views. Though Check Your Keys – Part 1 has been described as a fast read - the book causes you to reread because the depth of the message. Check Your Keys – Part 1 is like a small piece of meat that’s so good you want to savor every morsel; without taking your time you’ll miss so much.

Tabitha Vinson uses the skills of a highly qualified medical surgeon performing a major operation, although she is a gifted, spiritual-based, surgeon, and a woman of God; she also possesses a keen knowledge of house construction and the game of chess.
In her debut novel, Check Your keys (Part I), Tabitha expertly guides the reader through a tour of her personal life, her household filled with images of materialism, as she skillfully relates each room to a part of the human anatomy. Her dissecting instruments are intermixed with a spiritual conversation with God.
The book cover gives not hint of the message inside. Inside, the book is an unusual combination of black and white photos, juxtaposed against easy to read chapters, well thought of spiritual lessons, and life saving directions for believers, non-believers, back-steppers, and people not necessarily rooted in Christianity.
Check Your Keys is a unique compilation of self-help and spirituality. Unknowingly, Reverend Tabitha Vinson may have introduced a new writing style that combines writing and teaching.
